Vrelo Bosne
(often referred to as the source area of the Bosna River) is a natural park and popular recreational point of interest located near Ilidža, on the outskirts of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is known for its clear spring water, shaded pathways, wooden bridges, and small islands formed by the river’s emergence from underground karst sources at the foot of Mount Igman.
The area is part of a protected natural environment and is a favorite destination for walking, cycling, horse-drawn carriage rides, and nature tourism, offering a peaceful green escape close to the city.
