Vrelo Bune - Buna Spring

Vrelo Bune is a striking natural karst spring near the village of Blagaj in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is the powerful source of the Buna River, emerging from a cave at the base of a high limestone cliff and producing one of the largest springs in Europe. The site is famous for its clear, cold water, scenic beauty, and the historic Blagaj Tekija (a 16th‑century Dervish monastery) built beside the spring, making it a unique blend of natural wonder and cultural heritage.
