Mostar - View Point

The viewpoint is part of the Fortica Adventure Park and features a modern glass-floored skywalk platform built into the hillside. From here, visitors get a wide 360° view over:

• the old town of Mostar
• the Stari Most in the distance
• the Neretva River valley
• the surrounding Herzegovinian mountains

The platform sits high above the city (around 500–600 meters elevation), making it one of the best elevated viewpoints in the region.

How to get there

• ~10–15 minutes by car from Mostar city center
• Taxi is easy and inexpensive
• There is also a hiking trail (about 45–60 minutes uphill)
• Parking available at the top

Fortica is not only a viewpoint, but part of an adventure area with:

• zipline (one of the longest in Bosnia and Herzegovina)
• via ferrata climbing routes
• walking trails through old fortress remains

Tourist tip

• Best time to visit: sunset
• Bring a light jacket (it’s windier and cooler than in the city)
• Go early or late to avoid tour groups
